Samoan Traditional Tatau
Vaiaso o le Gagana Samoa- Samoan Language week. This morning Sky, Brooklyn, Alayah and I worked collaboratively to create a DLO about the Samoan Tatau. Which is the Samoan word for tattoo. We looked at some of the traditional ways in Samoan to get a tattoo. Heres the link of the video if the video doesn't work.

Commenting .
Today I was doing commenting and I decided to comment on raera's blog post .
Raera was talking about making connections on her blog post .
I really liked asking questions to raera just to see if she will answer them .
I learned how to omment on other peoples wor including raera .
I learned this by going on her blog and looking at what was recently updated and commenting on it

Maori .
Today we had miss Whea odie as our maori teacher and Miss whea odie told as to make a google slides .
And we had to make a google slide and we had to write our pepeha on it .
The 2nd slide is who I am the 3rd slide is where I am from I am from New zealand I live in Panmure , the 4rd slide is who my parents are and the 5th slide is my hole pepeha.
I learned how to do my own pepeha .
I learned this by listening to miss whea odie and trying not to talk while she is.

Nerve System .
Today for reading we learned about the nerve system .
We had to work by our self for this but we could help people that wanted help or wanted help .

Kiwi Can .
Today we had kiwi can with miss lilly and mr matt .
We played to games as our energiser .
The 2 energisers we played were called opposite and the other game was infinity tag .
The other thing we had to was get back in our 3 lines .
we had to go outside to play infinity tag because it was really hot and we didn't want to play in class .
This was really fun for me becuse i have not played opposite before it was also tricky for me because what ever miss lilly did we had to do the opposite .
Then we had to get in a circle and we did GKQs . it had to go in a pattern so it was always the 1st 4 people to go . GKQs are when Mrs Matt miss Lilly ask us questions and we have to try and get it right .
LI: Was to follow the rules , try not to talk when the teachers were talking and also lisen to miss Lilly and mr matt .

We had to measure 8 containers The milk bottle, coffee cup, pie dish, beaker, test tube, jelly cup, conical flask and the plastic cup. We measured water. If you don't now what capacity is it means how much containers can hold

Kiwi Sport .
Today we Had our first lesson for Kiwi sport with Our teacher Mr Ogilvie . This was our first week for Term 2 week 1 . We learned how to play foot ball . The first thing we had to do is sit down and listen to Mr ogilvie . Then he told us to get into a group of 4 and we started practising to control our book . After we did that we had to pick someone from our group to wear a Bib , The person wearing the bib is not allowed to get the ball if the person with the bib gets the ball then the last person who touched the bib had to wear it .

Texts Types .
Yesterday we had a reading lesson and we learned about the six text types which are Procedural Explanation , information report , Narrative , Persuasive , and als recount .
Those are all the 6 text types .
We also had to makee audio recording , videos , voice recordings and Read asrticles and see what type of text it is .
We did all 6 text types for writting as well .
I learned how to know all 6 text types .
I learned this by thinking of all the text types I know and if I do not understand the text type I can hook it up on the dictionary and see what it means or i could just go on the Panmure bridge school website .
LI: To asses the Athors purpose and determine the reliabilitty of information given in the text .

Today we had maori With our maori teacher Mrs Whaea odie .
We ad to sit on the mat and listen to what she said . Then after that we had to get our chromebooks and type up google translate and the maori Dictionary .
We had to get the answers by listening how to pronunce it and also writting \ making a list .
After that Miss Whea Odie came around half of our class and she heard our prounceastion to her if we needed any help .
I learned this by listening to whea odie and making a list of maori Words .

Cybersmart - Commenting .
Today for Cybersmart we did commenting .
This was tricky for me because I had to comment on 2 peoples blogpost this was also kinda easy because i Knew how to comment . The first thing we had to do is pick someone to comment on their work and Our teacher Mr wong found us another one 2 do . The yr 5s did 2 and the yr 6 had to do 3.
I did this by going On the Panmure bridge school task list and seeing what Angelica and Sione a Updated on our Task list and commenting on their work . I learned how to comment on peoples work and trying to compare it to something I have did in the past . We also had to write thoughtful, Helpful and Positive comments .

Today we did Kiwi can And we had a new them the new them that we had was integrity .
I liked playing the energizers because they were really fun .
I think that my favourite game \energiser we played was infinity tag because you can tag anyone .
I learned this by listening to Mrs Lilly and Mr Matt because they were the ones who provided the games so that we play them .
I learned how to play a game that I never really play and the game the I never really play is Infinity tag and 21 .

Explanations .
Mr wongs writting groups had to do tis .
Yesterday for Writing we learned about Explanations we also learned about explanations for reading as well .
We had to remind each other What a explanation is .
This was challenging for me so I think it was also challenging for other as well .

What is Capacity ?
Today for maths we played an energizer game and then we did our work .
This was challenging for me mostly but this was good to get better at my maths because it has subtraction answers and Addition answers as well But we had to write the answer not just say the answer .
I learned about measuring how many UniLink cubes were in each container we had to fill , We had to fill the beaker , Red reading box , Plastic cup and a pencil holder.

7 Organism .
Today for inquiry we learned about MRS GREN . MRS GREN stands for Movement , Respiration , Sensitivity , Growth , Reproduction , Excretion and Nutrition . This was really challenging for me but also fun because we had to work in a group or we could work by ourselves I choose to work as a group. But we could only be in a group or 3 or under I worked as a group . The people in my group was Sandra and Raera.
We had to do this by creating a google slide and working as a group .
LI: Was to learn about the 7 characteristics of the living Organism .
